As you walk further, the magic deepens. The air shimmers with excitement as festive melodies drift between the branches, and cheeky elves peek from behind tree trunks, eager to welcome you.
With each step, the forest whispers more secrets, and you begin to sense that something truly wondrous is waiting just beyond the trees.
Please note, the light trail is only available during dusk and evening sessions.
The Grand Lobby

Warm smiles welcome you inside. Mischievous elves are ready to greet you, full of festive cheer and excitement.

Tinsel Town Express
All aboard! Your journey continues as you walk onto the station platform, where the Tinsel Town Express is preparing to set off.
Step into your cosy carriage as Conductor Merryweather, one of Santa’s most trusted elves, greets you with a twinkle and festive cheer.
Music fills the air, and the Tinsel Town Express begins its journey deeper into Santa’s Secret Forest towards Tinsel Town.
Through the windows, the forest comes alive with glowing elf villages and snow-covered trees.
Santa’s Sleigh Garage
Ever wondered how Santa’s sleigh stays so fast, shiny, and ready for its Christmas Eve journey?
Step inside Santa’s Sleigh Garage, a bustling workshop deep in the forest. Elf mechanics check every bolt, whisper spells into the engine, and polish the golden runners until they shine.
This year, you’ll get a first look at Santa’s brand new sleigh. Sleek and shimmering, it is filled with magical upgrades to help deliver more Christmas cheer than ever before.
You might even be asked to help with the final safety checks before take-off.
North Pole Command
Step inside North Pole Command, the high-tech heart of Operation Christmas.
Enter a vast control room alive with energy. Towering screens glow with sleigh trackers, weather radars, world maps, and real-time updates to the Naughty and Nice List. This is where Christmas magic becomes mission control.
Santa’s top team of elves are stationed at glowing desks, working at full speed to prepare for the big night. You’ll hear the buzz of radio calls, flight simulations, and mission updates as the countdown continues.
From tracking weather over Liverpool to adjusting Santa’s routes across the globe, every detail is carefully planned. Watch the magic unfold and discover how each elf helps Christmas arrive on time for children everywhere.
The Mailroom
Welcome to Santa’s Mailroom, the busiest post room in the world.
This is where letters from children everywhere arrive, ready to be magically sorted and delivered straight to Santa’s desk. Stacks of colourful envelopes fill the walls to the ceiling.
Now it’s your turn to join the fun. Take a seat at a cosy writing station, choose your special Santa stationery, and let the Big Man know what’s on your wish list this year.
When your letter is ready, head to the magical mail chute. Watch as lights flicker and bells chime, sending your message racing to the North Pole, ready to land right on Santa’s desk.
The Workshop
Step into Santa’s Toy Workshop, the biggest and busiest room in the forest. It is bursting with toys, tools, and elf-sized workstations, all humming with excitement as Christmas approaches.
The room sparkles with lights and music as a magical sound and light show brings everything to life. Elves rush between stations, putting the finishing touches on presents, and now they need your help.
Roll up your sleeves and join the fun. Along the way, you might even uncover a few secrets about how Santa’s toys come to life on Christmas Eve.
The Time Tunnel
Step into the Time Tunnel, a heartwarming journey through festive memories from the 1980s to today.
This nostalgic walkthrough is filled with retro toys, classic TV specials, tinsel-draped trees, and the songs that once echoed through living rooms on Christmas morning.
It is a place for families to connect across generations. Grown-ups can point out the gifts they once unwrapped, laugh at old fashions, and share the traditions that made their childhoods magical.
From gadgets to timeless music, every corner is packed with the sights and sounds that shaped Christmas for decades. It is the perfect place to reminisce.
Departures
Welcome to Departures, a magical twist on a North Pole airport departures lounge.
Get ready for lift-off in this cosy, cabin-style space, filled with wooden beams to relax in as you wait to board the Magic Elevators.
Elves are busy checking flight schedules, making boarding calls, and scanning magical boarding cards while you soak up the festive atmosphere.
You’ll even watch your in-flight safety video and pass through Elf Security, where the cheekiest elves give you a merry thumbs-up and clear you for take-off.
With each announcement, the excitement builds. Your magical journey is about to begin.
The Magic Elevators
Hold on tight as you board the Magic Elevators for a breathtaking 360-degree flight like nothing you’ve ever experienced before.
As the doors close and the festive music builds, you’ll feel the floor gently begin to lift. Soaring high above the Secret Forest, you’ll glide over the twinkling treetops, leaving Orrell Woods far below as you rise higher and higher into the starry night sky.
Feel the wind rush past as you journey across seas and snowy landscapes, passing magical sights and shimmering lights on your way to the very top of the world. The Northern Lights flicker in the distance as you draw closer to your destination.
Where will you arrive? Who will be waiting to greet you? There’s only one way to find out!
SANTA’S HOUSE
If you’ve made it onto the Nice List, your journey leads to North Pole and the most magical place of all, Santa’s very own house.
Step inside his cosy, twinkling home where the fire is glowing, the scent of gingerbread fills the air, and the Big Man himself is waiting to welcome you. Share your Christmas wishes, take a magical photo together, and enjoy a moment you’ll never forget.
Santa can't wait to hear all about the adventure you’ve had and the kindness that earned you a place on the Nice List.
After your visit, hop back on the Magic Elevators for a spectacular return flight, gliding past iconic landmarks like Big Ben and Liverpool’s Royal Liver Building before arriving safely back at the start of your journey.
Every child will receive a free Pixel the Planning Elf toy as a special thank you for being part of the magic this Christmas.
SANTA’S REINDEER
Take a peaceful moment to meet Santa’s real reindeer, quietly resting in their woodland paddock between training sessions for the big night.
It's a heartwarming chance to snap a family photo and enjoy the wonder of being close to these magical creatures.
Tucked among the twinkling trees, the reindeer bring a touch of North Pole magic that adds even more sparkle to your visit.
MERRYWOOD MARKET
Next, you’ll arrive at Merrywood Market, an enchanting woodland courtyard filled with festive cheer. Beneath a canopy of twinkling lights and evergreens, you’ll find warmth, shelter, and plenty to explore.
At its heart stands a towering Christmas tree, bursting into life every 20 minutes with lights, music, and magic! A moment little and big kids will love.
Wander past glowing stalls offering hot chocolate, mulled wine, and irresistible festive treats for every appetite.
Then, if you’re feeling adventurous, hop aboard Santa’s thrilling 4D VR sleigh or let the little ones enjoy a gentle ride on his Postal Express train. (Extra charge for sleigh and train rides.)
